This is the second book in have read from Katherine and they never disappoint! This book is a quick, easy read with the perfect mixture of story development, romance, and steamy moments. I loved the backstory and how the character comes to terms with her fate (or does she-no spoilers!) A heroic scene made the story for me and also seemed to be a turning point in the book. This took me back to fantasies I had since in was young...who wouldn't want to be sworn to the king of the ocean?!
An interesting read......the heroine seemed to be a sad lonely woman who suffers from frequent tumultuous dreams, and then the reason becomes clear. A nice blend of normal life and fantasy interspersed well, the erotic scene on the beach...well..I will never look at sea weed in the same light again..! And as for the taste of salt in your mouth..!'ll leave that up to your own imagination...!will start reading some more of Katherine's book now..... a genre I wasn't clued up on but had my first tasty bite of Katherine's cherry...mmm..!
This author really has her erotic, fantasy skills honed well. I loved this little book. The adventure in it was excellently written, editing was exceptional. I was way more than I expected. I felt like a naughty Ariel in the little mermaid reading this book. LOL Recommend as a late night summer read before you go to sleep. It will give you very naughty dreams in a fantasy world. Kind of Like Titania and Oberon in A Mid Summer Nights Dream. Throughly enjoyable.
